Mark Filley, M.D.

Dr. Mark “Tag” Filley provides patients with comprehensive spine and pain management care. He employs a broad range of endoscopic and interventional pain management techniques, carefully matching treatment modalities with the specific needs of his patients.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Dr. Filley received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and completed his residency training at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He trained at the prestigious Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix and the Texas Brain and Spine Institute in Plano. His training also includes medical research at NASA’s, Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas and in traditional Chinese medicine at the Capital University of Medical Sciences in Beijing, China.

Dr. Filley, a board-certified physician, is a member of the North American Spine Society, Spine Intervention Society and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.

When not providing compassionate care to his patients, Dr. Filley enjoys spending time with his family. He is active in his church and enjoys camping, scouting and sports with his wife and four children.
